A very well run hotel with a pleasant atmosphere Highly professional staff Very good kitchen Lobby cafe with cakes A nice beach with a romantic pier 3 x weekly RIU parties outside the daily evening animation program Ferry to Isla de mujeres 400 meters away - convenient you don't need a taxi I usually don't rate hotel stays very much, but this time I highly recommend this hotel I have worked in the hotel industry for 30 years and I know what effort is behind these excellent results

Riu Palace Peninsula is an amazing place with an amazing staff. The beach is great, the amenities is very nice, the entire staff from bellboy to restaurant attendants are amazing. I love the fact that the hotel was immaculant despite hundreds people were staying at the hotel. The property is well kept. I need to give shout out to Andy and Melissa from front desk, very courteous, friendly and delivered an exceptional customer service. Noel, Ansa, Junior, Gael, from Isla Mujeres restaurant were amazing individuals. The chef at Isla Mujeres was awesome, great tasting of salmon, steak and lobster. I will definitely coming back to this hotel. I will try different Riu property in other country...next Riu Montego Bay...
